Arrival

The arrival to Hardtsee/Start/Transition Area 1 is signposted. 

Details coming from motorway A5:

coming from South:

  • exit Bruchsal oder road house Bruchsal/Forst
  • both ways lead into Forst
  • follow the signs to Weiher, there are some large parking lots


coming from North:
possible only sunday morning for Challenge participants
for S-Distance in the afternoon please follow the same way like when coming from South!

  • exit Kronau
  • follow the signs to Weiher, this way is part of the bike course in opposite direction



For those that are familiar with the area please keep the road closures in mind road closures.

road works on the A5

Once again there are road works at the autobahn A5 lose to Bruchsal in both directions - please allow some extra time for that.

On the bottom you find a general sketch how to come to the Kraichgau Area.

Parking

Shuttle-Bus

We offer shuttle busses. The first ride is at 9:20 o'clock from Hardtsee (Start and transition area 1) to Bad Schönborn (transition area 2 and finish line). From then on a regual shuttle service is offered. Last trip from Bad Schönborn (transition area 2 and finish line) to Hardtsee leaves at 19:30. The stop station in Bad Schönborn (transition area 2 and finish line) is located the the roundabout at the LIDL parking lot. The distance to transition area 2 and finish line is about 600m.

Road closures and bypasses

We created a list of the road closures and bypasses that will be in place during the race.

Find your way back to the lake

The way back to the lake by bike or by car is signposted from Schönbornhalle; just follow the road B3 direction Bruchsal till you come to Ubstadt. Take a right there direction to Weiher. You can also use the shuttle busses that are being offered (it is not possible to take a bike into the bus).
